Synapse is seeking a skilled Salesforce, Certinia, and Slack Administrator & Product Leader to become a vital member of our team. In this pivotal role, your contributions will ensure the seamless operation and integration of key business applications, enabling effective collaboration and driving efficiency across our organization. Job Responsibilities
As the Salesforce, Certinia, and Slack Administrator & Product Leader, you’ll be an essential member of our Operations Team, where technology and applications play a major role in our business operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of these platforms and possess a proactive approach to optimizing their use within our organization. In your role, you will:
In your role, you will:

Act as the primary administrator for Salesforce, Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), Slack, and other integrated business applications, managing user setups, permissions, workflows, and system configurations.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics within Salesforce and Certinia to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Oversee the integration of Salesforce with Slack and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and operational alignment.

Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging the full capabilities of Salesforce, Certinia, and Slack.

Increase the SF and Certinia PSA knowledge of operations staff.

Support special projects as assigned, such as streamlining labor planning, developing a skills database, or tagging a large backlog of projects.

Work with the Technical Business Analyst to develop use cases, testing strategies, and other tools and methods to collect and interpret business requirements.

Along with operations and consulting colleagues develop, document, and apply best practices and first principles related to project management, resource management, client management, opportunity and project lifecycle management.

Provide user support, training, and documentation to ensure efficient and effective use of business applications.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors to implement fixes or updates as needed.

Evaluate and recommend enhancements or additional tools to improve system functionality and support business goals.

Maintain data integrity across systems by performing regular audits, backups, and updates.

Manage periodic upgrades and patches, reviewing release notes, and identifying new features to incorporate.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, Certinia, and Slack, staying informed of new features, best practices, and industry trends.

Assist with IT security evaluations related to these platforms to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Other related tasks and duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or a related field
-
5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Business Applications Manager, or in a similar role

Strong desire to work for a mission-driven organization (and part of a team)

Salesforce Administrator Certification
-
Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing Salesforce, Certinia, and Slack platforms
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
-
Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration between business and technical teams
-
Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
-
Curiosity to explore innovative solutions

Capability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

The salary range is $90,000-$130,000, based on a full-time schedule. Our base salary range does not include the work-life balance or profit-sharing bonuses. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Synapse offers competitive market salaries, based on our primary market of nonprofits and government agencies. Our salaries reflect our work for these public interest clients.
